Tombstone Classic
In 1992, we introduced our first birdshead grip revolver, built on a Ruger Blackhawk. Later, as the Vaquero was introduced, the Tombstone Classic was built on that platform. Since that day, this little beauty has been one of our most popular cowboy guns.
The Tombstone Classic starts out as your old model Vaquero®. We fit our own birdshead grip to the gun, add the barrel length of your choosing, add a Colt-style cylinder, and do a super slick action job on it.
We fully engrave it with items relevant to the old West from a hundred years ago. Items such as handcuffs, leg irons, guns, hangman's noose, and much more. We then fit the grips of your choice to the gun, in either black or white pearl polymer or black Micarta. The hammer and trigger are then jeweled to give them that classy look. We then add any special engraving, such as your name or a cowboy handle.
The Tombstone Classic can be had in 357, 44 special, 44 magnum, 44-40, or 45 long colt. The two Tombstone Classics shown are 3 1/2-inch stainless steel models in .45 Long Colt with black pearl and black micarta grips, but yours can be built however you like. A true Western classic is our Tombstone Classic.
Since we brought it out in 1992, the TOMBSTONE CLASSIC has been one of our two biggest sellers. The TOMBSTONE CLASSIC features our own birdshead grip in your choice of white or black polymer pearl or black buffalo horn. The TOMBSTONE CLASSIC can be finished in our Black Chromex finish with contrasting stainless steel pins, screws, and other small parts. The hammer and trigger are stainless and jeweled for that classy look. A full-action job has been done on the gun to achieve a super-smooth hammer and trigger pull. The TOMBSTONE CLASSIC shown is a 3 1/2-inch, 45-long Colt. However, any caliber Vaquero can be converted.
